Making a Difference — Hand in Hand
Food, care and dignity for people who need it most
Wheels for Humanity is a Johannesburg NPC. We take meals and essential items to orphanages, old-age homes and destitute people who cannot come to us. Your gift becomes food in someone’s hands.
What we do
We show up with food where it is needed
Founded in 2021, we support less fortunate homes, orphanages and communities across Johannesburg through feeding schemes and essential items.
No one should go hungry. We cook and distribute food so that orphanages, old-age homes and families in crisis have a meal they can count on.
Alongside meals we provide essential items — the everyday necessities that keep a household or a children’s home going.
Our vehicle is how food and supplies reach people who cannot travel. Wheels, in our name, means we bring the help to the door.
Every rand, every bag of rice, every hour of cooking is a partnership. Hand in hand with donors, we keep this work going.
